Winter has arrived, bringing with it dark nights and lots of wind and rain. But also lots of faux fur, red wine and nights in with the fire on and feet up.
To brighten up our November blues, we booked in for a girly weekend at a Boutique Brighton hotel.
Artist Residence Brighton is a 23 bedroom townhouse hotel with two restaurants, a cocktail bar and ping pong room located in historic Regency Square with sea-views over the iconic West Pier,
It’s owners, Justin and Charlie offer an original, relaxed and casual vibe with a rustic and eclectic décor. The hotel is eccentric, fun and gorgeously homey,
We arrived to a bright pink door, Victorian chequer tiles and a buzzing hotel reception. Our room, tucked underneath the main body of the house was beautiful and cosy. We arrived to a big inviting bed, beautiful art work and our own little Roberts radio playing soothing Jazz tunes.
The Cocktail Shack is a rum-soaked shack made up out of wood salvaged from the Pier. Drinks are served by waiters in bright Hawaiian shirts, as you look out to the sea front.
Totally tropical…even in November.
After a few glasses of Prosecco and rum cocktails every way possible way, we were ready to explore everything Brighton had to offer!
